Lynne E. "Buddy? Lillis, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, October 22, 2002, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. Services: 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2002, at St. Matthew?s Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Mark Osterhaus. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2002, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, where a time of sharing begins at 7:00 p.m. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her nieces and nephew, Julie Lank, Mitchell (Paula) May, and Margaret (Mike) Hagan; and many friends.
Lynne was born March 17, 1948, the daughter of Sgt. Major William and Pauline (Smith) Lillis, in Oakland, California. She was a Probation Officer and later a Deputy for the Linn County Sheriff Department.
