Lynn E. Boyles, 76, of Center Point, Iowa, died Friday, December 29, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a lingering illness. There will be no visitation. Private family memorial services will be held at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, by Rev. David Hansen.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; daughters, Lynette (John) Hernandez of Cedar Rapids, and Donna (Michael) Wernett of Center Point; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ivan (Fern) of Scobey, Mississippi, Leland (Elsie) of Scranton, Arkansas, Dick (Shirley) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and LeRoy (Vicki) of Ledyard, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lynn was born April 22, 1930, the son of Everett and Ava (Fishel) Boyles, in Center Point, Iowa. For 33 years, he worked for Herman Brown Co., retiring in 1986.
It was Lynn?s wish to be cremated. The family requests no flowers.
Memorials may be directed to the donor?s favorite charity in memory of Lynn.
