Lucille Marjorie Mick

Lucille Marjorie Mick, 89, of 546 Forest Drive SE, Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center, following a short illness. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer. Friends may call from 6-8, Monday, March 24, 2003, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Jerry (Ruth), Bob (Judy), and Gene, of Cedar Rapids, David (Marjorie) and Jon of Vinton, and Charlotte (Dan) Darrow of Iowa City; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edward, in 1995, nine brothers and sisters and her parents.
Lucille was born April 25, 1913, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Seth and Augusta Lind Freed. She married J. Edward Mick, on July 28, 1933, in Chicago. Lucille was a long time member of Ambar Grotto and St. Paul?s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.
