Lucille Mae Baldwin, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, November 9, 2014. Celebration of Life: 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Palo United Methodist Church by Reverend John Howerton. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery, rural Covington, at a later date. Arrangements by: Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Lucille was born April 10, 1935, in Chelsea, Iowa, to William and Julia (Teslik) Struve. She was raised in the Belle Plaine area before her family moved to Palo, Iowa. Lucy married Dale Baldwin on June 4, 1955 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They lived in Palo later moving to Cedar Rapids. Lucy worked at St. Luke’s Hospital for 35 years. After retiring she worked at Methwick.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Kevin) Malamphy, Dan (Darci) Baldwin, Bill (Kim) Baldwin, Todd Baldwin, Jennifer Baldwin; grandchildren, Brian (Alisha) Malamphy, Rihanna Baldwin, Nicole and Damon Blakley; four great grandchildren; and fiance’, Bill Enyart; three brothers; and six sisters.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Dale and her parents.

Lucy was a loving wife, mother and sister and was an avid fan of Elvis.

A memorial fund has been established in Lucy’s memory.
