Louise M. Roseberry, 94, of Urbana, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, by the Rev. Gabriel Anderson. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2005, at the funeral home. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include a son, Leo (Madonna) Roseberry; a daughter, Yvonne (Duane) Kramer of Urbana; her grandchildren, Randy (Kathy) Roseberry of St. Paul, Minnesota, Rhonda (Peter) Fronczak of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brenda (Mark) Tjaden and Michelle (Steve) Foley, all of Urbana; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 71 years, Max; a sister; and a great-grandson.
Louise was born October 31, 1911, the daughter of James and Anna Maye (Hand) Lampman, near Center Point, Iowa. On April 16, 1930, she was united in marriage to W. Max Roseberry in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For 25 years, Louise and Max owned and operated Roseberry Hardware Plumbing and Heating in Urbana. After retirement, they spent the winters of 20 years in Arizona where they enjoyed the warm weather and many friendships. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts, always giving her handiwork to her family and friends. The delight of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Louise.
