Louise Faye Peyton, 66, of 1586 245th Street,Independence, Iowa died Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; three sisters, Mary Jane (Al) Ames of Marion, Phyllis Dykstra, of Marion and Dorothy Dee of Alburnett; and a brother, Jim (Eunice) Rodenberg of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Kenneth.
Louise was born September 29, 1941, the daughter of Paul and Bernice (Sidlinger) Reid, in Iowa City, Iowa. On November 21, 1961, she married James Peyton. For 25 years, Louise was a nurse at the Mental Health Institute in Independence.
The family would like to thank Dr. Martin Wiesenfeld and his staff and Dr. Lee and staff of Mercy Hospital for their support and care given to Louise.
