Lori Miller, 52, of Delhi, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 of a sudden illness. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service , Manchester. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. following the service.
Lori was born on October 10, 1962 in Iowa, the daughter of Ernie and Anne (Lasche) Burger. Lori attended college and spent the first years of her career as a nurse in Lubbock, TX; after returning to Iowa, she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Most recently, Lori worked at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. Lori loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are her sons, Cody (Rebecca Weber) Miller, and Dustin Miller; granddaughter, Brianna Lee Miller; father, Ernie Burger; siblings, Vicki (Dean) Kramer, Julie (Denny) Schilling, Lolly Burger, Ernie J. (Adela) Burger; nephew, Brian Kramer, niece, Keri Fitzpatrick, and several other nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Anne in 2008.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
