Loran "Bone" Garland

Loran “Bone” Garland, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away after a sudden illness Thursday, December 10, 2015, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life with Masonic Service: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, at the funeral home, conducted by Wayne P. Jones Jr. Inurnment will be at a later date.
He is survived by many friends and family.
Loran was born August 10, 1969, to Larry and E.Jaye (Erlanson) Garland in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He graduated from Linn Mar High School in 1989. Loran was a member of the IBEW Local #405, Kingston Lodge #676, and AmVets #6. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Loran’s memory.
