Lora Kay Armstrong (Armstrong)
May 7, 1961 — April 19, 2009
Lora Kay Armstrong, 47, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 19, 2009.
Survivors include her twin sister, Lisa Armstrong, Deanna (Doug) Ortberg, Robert Jr. (Nancy) Armstrong, Maria (Chuck) Downin, Mark (Karla) Armstrong, Paul Armstrong, Joyce McLaud, many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Chris Fredrickson.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Richard McLaud; and a nephew, Stephen Wharton.
Lora was born on May 7, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, to Laura and Robert Armstrong, Sr. She loved poetry, animals, fishing, and her beloved pets Inky and Sasha. She will be dearly missed and forever loved. Lora, we will see you again in paradise.
