Lloyd Owen "Moe? Moser, 80, of Hiawatha, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at home, after an extended illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha by Rev. Daniel Krueger. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion and one hour prior to the church on Monday. Burial: Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma; a brother, Richard of Guttenberg; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers, Arthur, James, Harry, Raymond, Lester and Ira.

Moe was born April 12, 1924, to A.W. and Bertha (Hansel) Moser at Osterdock, Iowa. He married Wilma Rodenberg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Guttenberg on November 13, 1954, they made their home in Hiawatha. Moe served in the Army during World War II. He learned the machinist trade at Kann Bros. machine shop in Guttenberg. He came to Cedar Rapids in 1951 and worked at Iowa Manufacturing Company for 35 years.
