Liudmila F. Evseeva, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Shakhty, Russia, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.

Liudmila was born on September 29, 1941, in Balakovo, Russia. She was the daughter of Fyodr and Yekaterina Shmonin. On January 25, 1967, she was united in marriage to Pyotr Yevseyev in Shakhty, Russia. She was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church. Liudmila worked as an asphalt operator and a bookkeeper. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, word puzzles, writing and reading.

Liudmila dedicated her life to family, where she raised, supported, and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grand-daughter. Her latest family addition, Mila (great grand-daughter) is named after her and always brought a smile to her face. Liudmila’s grandchildren referred to her as babushka, while her children referred to her as mama or mamulya. Liudmila will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Liudmila is survived and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Svetlana Yevseyeva and Tatiana Evseeva (Pavel Zobov), foster daughter Vika Razuvaeva (Raheem Fazul); five grandchildren, Kaisar (Josie) Herz, Hashim Herz, Yasmin Herz, Gleb Zobov and Elisey Evseev; a great granddaughter, Mila; sister, Polina Mironova; four brothers, Sergey, Alexandr, Mikhail and Nikolai Shmonin; and friends, Ralph, Wafaa and Vasili.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Yelena Evseeva; and siblings, Gennady, Valentina, Natalia, Lidia, and Tatiana.
