Lisa was born March 16, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Ken and Jackie Voss. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1987, where she played the baritone horn in the marching band and ran track before attending Jefferson College where she was recognized in the Junior College Honor Society. Lisa loved to volunteer for many organizations; she was a Girl Scout leader for both of her daughters’ troops, and the Co-President and Secretary at Coolidge, secretary for 2 years for Jefferson Booster Club and just been elected President. She also worked at Kirkwood Community College for 5 years under the Director of Operations. Lisa was employed by Verizon Conferencing for 20 years.
Lisa was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. Lisa spent many years learning the ins and outs of conferencing and was an invaluable resource to those around her. She was able to lighten up any conversation just as much as she was able to come right out and say the tough stuff. She loved to cook and read, and never hesitated to put those she loved ahead of herself. Lisa was a sweet, sassy, selfless woman who will be missed by many every day. She will be missed as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, girlfriend, co-worker, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to a memorial fund for her daughters, a portion of which will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in her memory.
