Lisa Marie Riess (Schirm)

Lisa Marie (Schirm) Riess age 39, passed away December 26, 2007 in Colorado Springs. She was born on December 4, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado the daughter of L. L. and Teresa A. (Jordan) Schirm. Lisa was a graduate from Wasson High School in 1987, and attended UNC in Greeley, Colorado, and was an avid Bronco fan. She was a friend, mother and wife to the end. She married J. Michael Riess, II on July 24, 1993.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Michael; three children, Teresa Ann Riess (Tresa), Kathryn Lindsey Riess and John Michael Riess, III; one brother, Brian L. Schirm of Colorado Springs, her father and step-mother, Lindy and Nancy Schirm; grandparents, Don and Bernice Jordan of Central City, Iowa and grandmother, Lois Schirm of Colorado Springs, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Ann (Jordan) Schirm.
Memorial services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4125 Constitution Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Local services will be Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Interment: Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills, Iowa.
