Lisa Marie Mallie, 56, of Atkins, formerly of Marion, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. Celebration of Life will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Brian Mallie of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Dorene (Dean) Bruce of Marion, Vicki (Curt) Edinger of Tucson, Arizona, and Laurie (Mark) McCormack of Atkins; many nieces and nephews; and three great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lisa was born August 16, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne and Dorothy (Wehde) Long. She attended Marion High School. Lisa was united in marriage to Brian Mallie on October 18, 2003, at the Long Branch in Marion. She had a love for all animals. Lisa’s beloved dog, Cinder, will rest with her.
