Linda E. Novotny, 61, of rural Central City, died at her home due to heart complications. She was born the daughter of Robert and Bessie (Vacek) Novotny on October 22, 1947 in Cedar Rapids.
Among survivors is Virginia Bell of Toddville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was retired from Square D Company of Cedar Rapids. She loved being on her farm, doing business on her computer and photography.
Murdoch Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements. Per her request, Linda will be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
