Linda Carol Brown

Linda C. “Nikki” Brown, 61, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Linda’s ashes will be scattered at a later date. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Linda was born on October 22, 1961, in Ohio, the daughter of Ronald and Ellen (Smith) Brown. She loved to dance and listen to music, especially Prince. Linda adored cats and enjoyed online shopping, videogaming and traveling. She was a very loyal, loving and generous person. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived and lovingly remembered by her sisters, Janet Holcomb of Ohio, Jennifer Waddell, Patricia Khan, and Marjorie Heskje all of Marion; aunts, Nancy Hughes of Ohio, and Sharon (Robert) Haigh of England; cousin, Angela Abbatielo of Ohio; and longtime companion, Keith Schipiour of Amana, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank.
