Linda A. Bell, 55, of Walker, Iowa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at the Walker Bible Church, Walker. Services will be Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the church, where friends may also greet the family one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery, Troy Mills. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include her husband, Tom of Walker; children, Megan (Brad) Snitkey of Walker, Travis (Kristin) Voss of Coggon, Ashlee Bell of Walker and Dalton Bell of Walker; grandchildren, Isabella, Ava and Owen; mother, Sally Hemphill of Walker; sister, Nina (Bill) Norris of Walker; and also surviving are many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Linda was born on August 21, 1961, in Vinton, Iowa, daughter of James and Sally (Stark) Hemphill. She graduated from North Linn High School in 1979. On December 4, 1993, Tom and Linda were united in marriage in Walker. She was employed as a birth care technician at St. Luke’s Hospital.
