Lina M. Johnson, 101, formerly of Center Point, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at the Villa Care Center, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. There will be no services. Private Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include her son, Charles (Marilyn) Johnson of Fort Dodge; three grandchildren, John of Fort Dodge, Tyler of Audubon, and Matthew (Wendy) of Nevada; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Marissa; and a sister, Joan Klima of Guttenberg.
Lina was born February 14, 1903, the daughter of Levi and Minnie (Kramer) Wheeler, in Urbana, Iowa. On June 27, 1923, she was united in marriage to Orval W. Johnson in Center Point, Iowa. He died in 1976. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Lina.
