Libbie Stejskal, 94, of Springville, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Pinicon Place, Anamosa. Visitation: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Viola United Methodist Church. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the church. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville.
Libbie is survived by her children, Susan (Kenneth) Oler of Springville, Steve (Sherri) Stejskal of Brooklyn, Iowa, and Sandy Omer Stejskal of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Carol Stejskal of Anamosa; ten grandchildren, Christy (Ty) Jones, Cheri (Josh) Schmidt, Casey (Jolene) Oler, Callie (Ryan) Trewin, Jason (Jamie) Flathers, Justin (Ashley) Flathers, Jeremy (Brandie) Flathers, Jon (Emma) Flathers, Jacob Flathers, and Nick (Lisa) Stejskal; and 20 great-grandchildren, Carlea, Cierra, Danica, Emma, Dillian, Cale, Barret, Emri, Ava, Zane, Libbie, Ella, Macy, Jacob, Chase, Cale, Grace, Alexis, Elizabeth, and Abby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; son, Ronald; grandson, Tim; twin granddaughters, Cathy and Carla; two brothers; and two sisters.
Libbie was born September 26, 1921, in Crete, Nebraska, the daughter of Anton and Anna Titera. On December 8, 1942, she married Frank Stejskal in New Londen, Missouri. Frank passed away in 2006. Libbie was a member of the Viola United Methodist Church, the UMW Homemakers, and couples card club.
Libbie enjoyed flowers and cooking for her family. She loved her grandkids.
