Letha L. Walters, 93, of Earlville, died, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at her home.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Earlville United Parish, conducted by Pastor Jill Mack. Visitation will be 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, June 15, 2012 at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville; additional visitation one hour prior to memorial service on Saturday. Graveside Service: 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Brown Cemetery, rural Colesburg.

Letha was born January 24, 1919 the daughter of Henry N. and Hulda M. (Harris) Harbaugh on the family farm in rural Colesburg. She graduated from Colesburg High School and then earned her teaching certificate. She married Harold J. Walters on June 15, 1940, he died January 13, 1977. She co-owned Walters Construction for many years with her husband.

Letha is survivors by her sons, Larry (Diane) Walters of Naperville, IL, and Terry Walters of Earlville; three grandchildren, Susan (Jay) Walters-Flood of Naperville, IL, Jennifer (Brian) Brasfield of Yorkville, IL, and Jonathan (Linda) Walters of Chicago, IL; five great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Gavin and Jillian Flood, Paige and Logan Brasfield; a special niece Tana (Jerry) Wendling of Earlville and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives.

Letha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; brothers and sisters, Veryle, Lyle, Leon, Olive Harbaugh, and Grace Torrey.

Letha was a member of the Earlville United Parish, Earlville Community Club, numerous garden clubs, Ruth Suckow Library Board, Proserpian Guild, and Outlook Club. Letha was dedicated to her family, church, and community. She enjoyed music, flowers, gardening, and cooking.
