Lee William Bailey, 82, of 4017 Yellowbird Lane, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City by Rev. Del Bear. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include two sons, David (Denise) Bailey of Bridgeport, TX, and William (Teresa) Bailey of Vinton; a daughter, Renee McDonald of Vinton; 10 grandchildren; a daughter, Renee McDonald of Vinton; 3 great-granddaughters; and two brothers, Herbert Bailey of Marion, and Richard Bailey of Prairieburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Robby; and a brother, Donald.
Lee was born August 13, 1927 in Central City, the son of Frank Roy and Bessie (Keyes) Bailey. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Lee worked as a security guard at Aegon.
