Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline; and sister, Patsy.
Born September 4, 1943, in Kirksville, Missouri, Larry was the son of Russell and Madeline (Small) Patterson. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. On June 26, 1982, he was united in marriage to Kathy Powers. Larry worked at Dental Prosthetic Services (DPS) for 35 years.
Larry was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. He was involved in several Bible studies. He loved the Bible, history, western movies, being a jokester, playing cards, games and walking the Noelridge trail with his DPS family. His greatest joy was his family and having everyone with him.
The Lord and his family were most precious to him.
Romans 8:28 was his most favorite Bible verse. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Larry’s memory.
“And what about Sam?”
