Larry L. Luigs

Larry L. Luigs, 69, of Manchester and formerly of the Elkader area, died at his home on November 23, 2008, following a sudden illness.
A Prayer Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester, Iowa. Larry will lie in state from 4:00 pm until service time. Burial will be Thursday in the Smithfield Cemetery, rural Monona, Iowa.
Larry was born on March 24, 1939, in Puducah, Kentucky, the son of Frank H. & Mary E. [Duncan] Luigs. On August 28, 1981, Larry married Eunice V. Wnek in Centralia, Illinois. The couple resided in Clayton County, Iowa. Eunice died on December 29, 1993.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, children and siblings.
