Larry Eugene Grimm, 79, of Urbana, Iowa, passed away surrounded by immediate family at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Visitation: one hour prior to service, at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Judy Grimm; children, Debra Grimm (fiancé, Tony) and Ray (Amy) Grimm; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Sherman and Merle (Georgene) Grimm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Grimm; and son, James Grimm.
Larry was born on May 30, 1937, in Urbana, Iowa, son of Merle and Laura (Palmer) Grimm. On June 20, 1966, Larry and Judy were united in marriage. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
