Larry D. Fields, 49, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
Survivors include his daughter, Lacey Elizabeth and her mother, Kelly; his father, Carl Fields, Jr; brother, Danny Fields; two sisters, Cathy (Al) Boyer and Susan (Skully) Munson; three nieces, Holly, Andrea and Sally; three nephews, Michael, Eric and Chad; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila.
Larry was born July 29, 1959, the son of Carl and Lila (Jeffrey) Fields, Jr., in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For 30 years, he worked for Quaker Oats.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for his daughter, Lacey.
