Larry Cook, 66, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Visitation: 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at God’s Acres Cemetery near Clermont, Iowa.
Larry was born on October 5, 1954, in West Union, Iowa, the son of Gearald and Margaret (Lamm) Cook. He persevered through many obstacles. Larry will be remembered for his kind heart. He will be missed by those who loved him.
Survivors include his siblings, Paul (Joan) Cook, Gloria Ruzicka of Cedar Rapids, and Steven (Laurie) Cook; nephew, Oliver Cook; several cousins, friends, and caretakers at the REM group home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gearald and Margaret Cook; and his grandparents.
