L. Lorraine Wyckoff, 80, of 3011 30th St. Dr. SE, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2003, at First Christian Church in Cedar Rapids by Rev. James Chesnutt. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of sixty years, Jim; a son, Thomas J. Wyckoff and wife Diane of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Suzanne J. Wyckoff of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandsons, Thomas B. Wyckoff, William J. Wyckoff and wife Sacha, and great-granddaughter, Logan, all of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three half-brothers, Ellsworth, Edward and Griffith Clair.

Lorraine was born December 1, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Jones) St. Pierre. She lived there until shortly after her marriage to James B. Wyckoff on October 17, 1943.

After her family, faith was the center of Lorraine?s life. A member of First Christian Church for nearly 50 years, she served as a Deaconess, Elder and Chairman of the Board.
