L. Francine Satinsky, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Donna & Dennis Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Daniel’s Park Church of God, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Reggie Daniel. Inurnment: Czech National Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her sister, Vonda Baughman of Oskaloosa; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Wencil Satinsky; brothers, Robert Cameron and James Cruzen; and a brother-in-law, Richard Baughman.
Born October 3, 1926, the daughter of Floyd and Esther (James) Cruzen, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, she worked at May’s Drug Store in Oskaloosa and retired from Armstrong Dept. Store in Cedar Rapids. Francine attended Daniel’s Park Church of God and enjoyed watching the Cubs and Hawkeyes.
