Genevieve L. "Janie? Hutton, 98, a resident of Winslow House Care Center, Marion, died there Thursday, June 5, 2003. The family will greet friends, Sunday, June 8, 2003, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion. Private graveside services will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Twyla Hutchins and her husband Leo of Marion and Carol Kelly of Slidell; five grandchildren, Cletis Sloan and husband Bill of Alburnett, Corrine Dvorsky of Marion, Curt Hutchins and wife Sue of Marion, Renee Stahoski of St. Francis, Minnesota and Alan Hodges and wife Natalie of Louisiana; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Earl, two brothers, Robert and Foster, a sister, Leola, a son-in-law, Howard and a grandson, Danny.
Janie was born the daughter of Wallace and Mamie Johnston Dolan on January 26, 1905 in rural Lisbon. On September 22, 1928, she was united in marriage to Robert Earl Hutton. He died April 19, 1990.
A memorial fund has been established in Janie?s memory.
