Kyle M. Walker, 20, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The family will greet friends from 4 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Kyle was born January 25, 2003, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Matt and Dusty (Willett) Walker. He graduated from Prairie High School, Class of 2021. Kyle worked as a metal fabricator at Iowa Specialties. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Above all else, Kyle loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents, Dusty and Matt Walker; sister, Megan Schaefer (Jonah Sherzer); brother, Kody Walker; niece-to-be, Peyton Sherzer; paternal grandmother, Bev Walker; aunts and uncles, Christie and Mike Sevey, Dena and Bill Brown; best friends, Moe Kuba, Michael Fisher, and Bryce Bell; his fur baby, Duke Hazzard; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Walker; maternal grandmother, Shirley Kness; maternal grandfather, Norm Willett; and nephew, Shayden Wheeler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
