Kristine Pflughaupt

Kristine Pflughaupt, 55, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018, at her home in Marion. A Parish Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion. A Celebration of Kristine’s Life will follow from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
Kristine was born September 17, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ambrose and Audrey (Smock) Loecke. She graduated from North Linn High School. Kristine was a manager for Pizza Hut, mail carrier for the United States Post Office, and currently served at many BP locations. She was a great cook, gardener, and quilter. Kristine loved being outside.
She is survived by her parents, Ambrose and Audrey Loecke; children, Kelly (Justin) Mottet and Chad Pflughaupt; grandchildren, Connor Pflughaupt, Ella Mottet and Brody Mottet; sister, Kim (Larry) Coleman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Kristine was a great mom, grandma, daughter, and friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
