Kevin Marlow, 49, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed in his sleep Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home. The family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will take place later in the summer of 2023.
Kevin was born January 11, 1973, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wayne and Karen (Kleiboer) Marlow. He attended Prairie High School. Kevin worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bushman Excavation in Fairfax, Iowa, before starting his own business, Advanced Grading Solutions in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed skeet shooting and hunting.
Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Karen Marlow of Independence, Iowa; sister, Paula (Ron) Triebsch of Columbia, Missouri; nephew and niece, Cooper and Amber; great-niece, Noelle; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Stormy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society, 7411 Mt. Vernon Road SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403.
