Kevin H. Keuter, 48, of Manchester, died July 12, 2006 in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Manchester by Rev. Nick March. Family will greet friends from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester and one hour before services Monday at the church. Inurnment will be in St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery, Masonville.
Kevin was born February 20, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Dale and Eileen (Wills) Keuter. He attended Campion-Jesuit High School, West Delaware High School and Loras College. On June 25, 1983 Kevin was united in marriage to Monica McMahon in Masonville. From 1979-2003 Kevin worked at Eastern Iowa Pork in Earlville and most recently at Wholesale Feeds in Marion.
Kevin?s passions were his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed music, gardening, cooking, golf, models, shooting pool, fishing and eagle watching. Some of his best talents were renaming his friends and family, making us all laugh and making friends with everyone he met.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Monica Keuter of Manchester; his mother, Eileen Keuter of Dyersville; two brothers, Kim (Kathy) Keuter of Dubuque and Karl (Judy) Keuter of Manchester; a sister, Kathy (Pat) Krapfl of Earlville; mother-in-law, Barbara McMahon of Manchester; brother-in-law, Matt (Liz) McMahon of Henderson, NV; sisters-in-law, Mary (Alvin) Goos and Michelle (Dave) Hoefer, both of Masonville; nieces and nephews, Kurt & Kwin Keuter; Kaci, Kipp, Kody & Kory Keuter, Matt, Callie & Derek Krapfl, Abbey (Ian) Lindauer, Maya (Jack) Porrino, Mitchell, Parris, Catie & Colleen McMahon, Courtney Moyer, Alaina Goos, and Leah, Jerad & Meghan Hoefer; great-nephews, Jordan & Ian; great-niece, Audrey; many, many friends; and Gus, the cat.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Dale Keuter; and father-in-law, Harold McMahon.
A memorial fund will be established in Kevin?s name to benefit the National Eagle Center.
