Kenneth L. Price
October 13, 1913 — June 27, 2005
Kenneth L. Price, 91, a resident of Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at the care center, following a long illness. Services: 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Pastor Reginald Daniel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery with military honors.
Survivors include his sister, Bertha Ellen Taylor of Cedar Rapids; two nieces, Patricia Elson of Cedar Rapids and Doreen Kidd of Keota; and a nephew, Jeffrey Taylor of Watertown, Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a nephew, Darrell Augustine.
Kenneth was born October 13, 1913, the son of Harry B. and Sarah Jane (Floyd) Price in Walker on the family farm. Kenneth served with the Army Air Force during WWII. On October 16, 1965, he married Edith Peal, she died in 1999. Kenneth worked at Rockwell Collins for thirty years before retiring in 1978.
Military honors will be provided by Floyd Williamson Post No. 712 of Troy Mills.
