Kenneth L. "Ace? Butteris, 50, a longtime resident of Lisbon, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, in his mother?s home, following a short illness. Graveside services: 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, at Shiloh Cemetery, Hiawatha, by the Rev. William Harnish. There will be no visitation. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremations Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Dolores Brawner of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Marvin Butteris of Lisbon, Cathy Dlouhy of Cedar Rapids, Theresa Plowman of Cedar Rapids, Bill Butteris of Lisbon, Rhonda Penrod of Swisher, Alisa Butteris of Cedar Rapids, Colleen Williams of Lisbon, Greg Butteris of Lisbon and Chuck Butteris of Olin.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Jack Butteris.
Kenneth was born July 31, 1953, the son of William and Dolores Diehl Butteris, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his Dad, brothers and friends and loved to kettle chicken for special events. Kenneth also loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
