Keith M. Roberts (Skeeter), 89, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Evergreen Estates, Cedar Rapids. Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by his grandson Aaron Brandon. Family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky (Craig) Brandon of Cedar Rapids; grandsons, Jae (Maria) Brandon of Fredericksburg and Aaron (Cassie) Brandon of Wallkill, NY; and brother, Billy (Betty) Roberts of Friendship, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marg; daughter, Pamela; and sister, Alberta.
Keith was born on February 20, 1924, in Toledo, Iowa, son of Earl and Bernice Roberts. He worked at Cherry Burrel as a machinist for 42 years. On March 23, 1946, he married Marjorie Lyon, she passed away in 1999. Keith was an avid and longtime member of the Cedar Rapids Jim Beam Bottle Collectors Club. He was a former member of Asbury Methodist Church.
