Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Donna; a daughter, Wenda (Dennis) Brown, of Tiffin, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Lynn (Peter) Donahue, Lisa (Jon) Becker, Duane Albin, and Kevin Osborn; 11 great-grandchildren, Cody Albin, Mykayla Padgett and Leah Osborn, Connor, Shawn, Erin and Brady Donahue, Drew and Quinn Becker, and Mathew and Tyler Brown; one sister, Marion Woods of Central City; and one brother, Delbert (Joyce) Albin of Palo.

He was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Howard and Larry Albin; his parents, Seth & Verna Albin; 2 brothers, Robert and Wendell Albin; and one sister, Thelma Millard.

Keith was born February 6, 1926, the son of Seth and Verna Albin, in West Branch, Iowa. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp. Once Semper Fi – always Semper Fi. Keith married Donna Sinkey on June 6, 1947 in Marion, Iowa. He worked for Nutrena/Cargil for 27 years, until they closed. He then went to work for Vigortone, until he retired. Keith enjoyed family vacations, camping with family and grandkids, fishing and duck hunting. He was planning a day of fishing with his good friend and neighbor, Ray Bailey. Keith also enjoyed wood carving and gun shows, as he and his son, Howard, were avid “high standard” collectors. They spent many hours on the road going to and from gun shows, and then a few more hours handling and polishing their purchases. Keith was a member of the Amercian Legion, Wapsi Post 421, Central City; the North Linn Fish & Game Club, and the NRA. He also enjoyed antiquing, especially antique toys; Big Little books, and Aladdin Lamps. Last, but not least, he spent many hours holding down a chair at auctions, with his daughter, waiting to find that ultimate bargain; you know, “the one your can’t live without.” They thought nothing about hitting three auctions a week. Keith also loved his beloved dog, Mollie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be designated to Camp Courageous of Iowa, P.O. Box 418, Monticello, IA 52310 or the Ronald McDonald House Charities, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
