Kathy Maier, 47, of 3524 Bel Air Dr. SE, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006, at All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids by Rev. David O?Connor. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein.
Survivors include her husband, Dean of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Philip Maier of Cedar Rapids and Andrew Maier of Cedar Rapids and fiancée Petra Ledererova; her mother, Olga Clemens of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Patrick (Mary Beth) Clemens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and her in-laws, Lester and Virginia Maier of Alburnett.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a son, Joseph.
Kathy was born September 22, 1958, the daughter of Leonard and Olga (Miculinich) Clemens in Cedar Rapids. On July 1, 1978, she married Dean Maier in Cedar Rapids. Kathy was employed at All Saints Catholic Schools. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kathy?s memory.
