Kathryn M. Hall, 76, of Central City, died Friday, September 9, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. At Kathryn?s request, there will be no visitation. Graveside services for the family only will be at Blodgett Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include two children, Connie Matheny of Center Point and Carroll C. Hall Jr. of Central City; two grandchildren, Michael Matheny of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Amy (Tom) Mack of The Woodlands, Texas; a brother, Kenneth (Juanita) Miles of San Diego, California; a sister, Shirley (James) Crowley of Anamosa; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Mack.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, Leo and Francis Miles.
Kathryn was born October 16, 1928, the daughter of Marshall and Marcella (Brislawn) Miles in Waubeek. On June 17, 1948, she married Carroll C. Hall Sr. He died April 26, 1992. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Wapsi Unit No. 421.
