Katherine Nan Oliver (Green)

Katherine Nan Oliver, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids by Rev. Zebedee Bell of Unity Church of God in Christ. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, Kathy of Cedar Rapids; five sons, Dwayne of Marshalltown, Raymond Griffin, Calvin Griffin, Robert Oliver, Jr. and Terry Lee Oliver, all of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Dawhan Oliver of Marshalltown and Eric Griffin of Cedar Rapids; and a great-grandchild, Giovanni Griffin of Cedar Rapids.
Also surviving are three sisters, Beatrice (George) Stevens, Gertrude (Jack) Harris, and Dora Mae Wise, all of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Ed Green, Jr., of Witchita, Wallace Green of Cedar Rapids, and Robert Green of Covington, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Katherine was born June 23, 1938, the daughter of Ed and Silvia (Helem) Green in Macon, Mississippi. She married Robert Oliver in 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri. Katherine was a member of New Jerusalem Church of God.
