Katherine Mae Moore

Katherine Mae Moore, 75, of 29 Summer Circle NE, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Myers and husband Russ of Hiawatha; a son, Robert Montgomery of Reno, Nevada; and five grandsons, Micah, Caleb, Brady, Cody and Kegan.
Also surviving is her friend and former husband, Ernie Montgomery and his wife Evelyn.
Katherine was born on April 3, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Augusta Smith Moore, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For 40 years, she worked for National Oats as a millworker, retiring in 1990.
