Kassidy L. Harris, 7, of 1816 M Street S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Jonna Jensen. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her parents, Gayle Lentner of Cedar Rapids and Dan Harris of Springville; sisters, Lydia Tindell and Alexis Harris; and brothers, Daniel Buchanan and Thomas Johnson.
Also surviving are her paternal grandfather, Robert Harris of Norway; maternal grandfather, Richard (Suzanne) Lentner of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandmother, Dixie (Del) Boldt of Central City; aunts, Teddie (Kirby) Crabb of Central City, Julie DeForest of Marion and Debra Harris of Marion; uncle, Bob DeForest of Cedar Rapids; several cousins; and many special friends at the ARC and Professional Home Health Services.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Barbara Harris.
Kassidy was born December 31, 1999, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Daniel Harris and Gayle Lentner. She was a student in K-1 at Taylor Elementary School.
She was our special princess and will be in our hearts forever. Good night Sleeping Beauty.
