Karen Sue Sauerbry
January 29, 1951 — June 27, 2014
Karen Sue Sauerbry, 63, of Greeley, lost her battle with cancer, Friday, June 27, 2014 in Edgewood. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Manchester. A celebration of life will be held following the service at the Greeley Commercial Club in Greeley. Interment will be at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Shane (Charlotte) Graham, and Shawn (Tammy) Graham; a sister, Irene (Robert) Osborn; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby, parents, and a brother, Tommy Hindman.
Karen was born January 29, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ivan and Mildred (Junge) Hindman. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Cedar Rapids. She married Rick Graham in 1972 and they had two sons. In 1999, Karen married Bobby Jo Sauerbry. She was employed in radio assembly at LeFebure in Anamosa, and later worked at G & G Living Center in Edgewood. She was proud of the work she did in arranging the G & G parade float each year for Edgewood Rodeo Days. Karen enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved having fun at picnics and other family events. She liked the beaches and warm air of Florida’s Cape Coral and Ft. Myers. Karen enjoyed involvement in Rendezvous Days and Pioneer Days celebrations.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund being established in her memory.
