Junior Earl Bolton, 76, a lifelong resident of Central City, passed away at his home on Monday, August 14, 2006. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City by Rev. Jonna Jensen. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
He was born the son of Earl Elbert Bolton and Carrie Pretty Kinkead on January 3, 1930. Junior married Louise Jane Rabik on April 17, 1949, in Mount Vernon, Iowa. They farmed together until retirement in 2000.
Junior was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved family, the land and country music.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Louise; sons, Jerry Bolton and wife Susan of Jesup, and Duane Bolton and wife Bev of Central City; grandchildren, Aaron Bolton and wife Nicole Mercer Bolton and son Matthew of Webster Groves, Missouri, Jody Bolton Smith and husband Tim and children Madeline and Calvin of Sartell, Minnesota, Jeff Bolton and girlfriend Morgan Pace of Portland, Oregon, Karen Bolton Grote and husband Jesse and stepson Gabe of Boone, Andy Bolton of Central City and Adam Bolton and wife Kelly of Lake Stevens, Washington; a brother, Don Bolton and wife Darlene of Fountain Valley, California; and a sister, Jean Buschkoetter and husband Bernard of Denver, Colorado.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lester, Leonard, and Archie; and four sisters, Lillian, Bessie, Carol and Faye.
A memorial fund has been established in Junior?s memory.
