June E. Dunham-Willamon, 80, a lifetime resident of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, February 16, 2009, in Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, following a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2009, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Bill Harnish. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial: Shiloh Cemetery, Hiawatha.
Survivors include her children, June (Robert) Dunham-Warren of Cedar Rapids, Art Dunham of Marion, John (Pat) Dunham of Cedar Rapids and Gary (Viki) Dunham of Walford; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and her grandson, Ryan Dunham.
Born May 13, 1928, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur and June (Franks) Nichols. On March 13, 1946, she was united in marriage to Jack Dunham. He died April 24, 1991. On June 17, 1961, she married John Willamon. He died December 3, 1997.
June’s joys were camping, fishing and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was her family that meant everything to her.
