June I. (Moyer) Morrow, 77, of Central City, died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 31, 2009. Services: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at The First United Methodist Church in Central City, by Rev. Nick Needham. The family will greet friends from 4 ?" 8 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2009, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, Iowa, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, William; her children, Leanne (Jim) Young, Curt (Carla) Morrow, Brett (Kelly) Morrow, and Craig (Janet) Morrow; grandchildren, Eric Lewis, Amy Lewis, Brooke Young, Ryan Young, Matt Morrow (fiancé, Amy Henkes) Ben Morrow, Amanda Morrow, Lee Morrow, and Billy Morrow; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Libby Gilbert; a sister, Mary (Dean) Gerdemann; 2 sisters-in-law, Barbara Moyer and Betty (Mike) Bowers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Donald Moyer; a sister, Dorothy Moyer and a grandson, Todd Andrew Lewis.
June was born February 14, 1932, the daughter of Albert and Grace (Parks) Moyer, in Viola, Iowa. She graduated from Viola High School in 1950 and married William Morrow on February 10, 1957 in Anamosa. June enjoyed gardening, working on the farm and especially raising animals. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City and a member of the Genealogical Society. June loved her family dearly.
