Juliana Kolar, 94, of 315 Main Street, Center Point, died Saturday, February 22, 2003, in her daughter and son-in-law?s home in Ramona, California, of heart failure. Services: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at the funeral home. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include her children, Leonard Kolar, Agnes Wilson, and Geraldine Mrkvicka of Cedar Rapids, Lillian Stych of San Diego, Lucille Welsh of Ramona, California, and Doris Penn of Raymond, Iowa; her brothers, Frank Bohac and Joseph Bohac of Nebraska; her sisters, Frances Polivha, Clara Bursh, Lillian Hospodka, Bessie Dovark and Tonie Wolipka.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy, her parents, two brothers, John and Adolph Bohac, five sisters, Mary Zoloudik, Emma Bursh, Agnes Jinks, Rose Votacha and Martha Doftob; and a grandson, Jeffrey Stych.
Juliana was born May 22, 1908, in Nebraska, the daughter of John and Mary (Zime) Bohac. She married Rudy A. Kolar on February 2, 1932, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Juliana was a housewife.
