Judy Eileen Zaruba

Judy Eileen Zaruba, 74, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her home. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Judy was born September 20, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John and Verda (Meister) Roloff. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967. Judy was united in marriage to Gerald Zaruba on February 10, 1968, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. Judy studied Tae Kwon Do and was a 7th degree black belt. She was a beacon of love and strength in our lives and her memory will forever live in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Zaruba; children, Gerald (Penny) Zaruba, Jo Lynn (Steve) Petersen, Jamie (Sherri) Zaruba, and Joshua (Melia) Zaruba; grandchildren, Parker, Tucker, Skylar, Zander, Samantha, Turner, Lily, Sophie, and Emmi; and brothers, David (Pam) Roloff, and Dennis (Jill) Rolloff.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Justa Zaruba.
