Judith Kay Henderson, 54, of Manchester, Iowa died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after a long struggle with scleroderma and cancer.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Manchester, Iowa. There will be a family gathering following burial at the United Methodist Church in Manchester, Iowa.
Judi was born July 25, 1949 in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Catherine (Sedgwick) Henderson. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1967. Judi attended cosmetology school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She lived the greater part of her life in the Cedar Rapids area and worked many years for Iowa National Mutual Insurance and the Area Substance Abuse Council.
Judi attended the Assembly of God Church in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.
Survivors include her parents, Jim & Catherine Manson of Manchester, Iowa; two brothers and their wives, Stephen & Maria Henderson of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Nick & Lynn Manson of Des Moines, Iowa; five nephews; six nieces and four great-nephews.
Judi was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Henderson and one sister, Patricia Mefford.
