Judith Ann Hart
November 5, 1946 — June 25, 2014
Judith Ann Hart, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, reposed in the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her family’s home after a battle with cancer. She was a gentle soul and devout follower of her God and Savior Jesus Christ. Judith was a persistent and faithful servant in the Holy Orthodox Church, especially during her illness.
Survivors include two sons, Reader Gabriel Hart and Kerry Loskill, both of Cedar Rapids. Three grandchildren, Ford Loskill, Corbin Loskill, and Georgia Loskill, and siblings Dr. Edward Shwery (Janet) of New Orleans, and Professor Craig Shwery of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Joanne Larson of Edinburg, Texas.
Judith was born on November 5, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois, and was the daughter of Halie and Delores (Nimocks) Shwery.
Judith was preceded in death by her father.
Services 10 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation for friends and family on Friday June 27, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
